Polycultural was excited to organize and host the 2014 Business Networking/ Job Fair at the Lakeshore Convention Centre on February 28th. The event attracted thirty five employers represented by 53 participants, and served as a platform for those looking to create valuable connections and expand their business networks. Our Job Developer Gordana Muratovic provided an excellent presentation on ‘Canadian Workplace Essentials’ that was received well by the audience, and prompted requests for repeated sessions for their staff.
Participating clients were able to get exposure to various employers, such as Peel Regional Police, RBC Bank, AudMax Inc, Manulife, Prestige Nursing Services, MIAG, PLASP, State Farm, Royal LePage, Desjardines, Volunteer MBC, and receive assistance with resume writing through the partnership with Clarkson Employment Centre.
I wish to thank all staff who helped this event turn into a huge success: Artan Spahiu, Gordana Muratovic, Dima Al Kabani, Mavwe Akpokiniovo, Gooljar Boodhun, Mervat Latif, Samia Jan, Rochelle Mairs, Aldina Okanovic and Maureen Cato-Dawson. Your ideas, effort and commitment have been greatly appreciated!

"Thank you so much for your kind invitation to “2014 Business Networking and Job Fair”.
I enjoyed every moment of it. It was extremely well organized and was as fruitful for service providers as it was for job seekers. Very nice location. Thank you also for feeding us. I am looking forward to attend the next one.
When it comes to organizing events, PICS rocks!
Congratulations for a very successful occasion!"
