Summer Camps are great ways for children to learn social skills, build self-confidence, long lasting relationships and have fun with their peers. Polycultural has recognized the importance of developing these skills at an early age and has seen it fit to host two summer camps annually at its Scarborough North and Mississauga locations.
The Scarborough North Centre, located at 3360A Midland Ave, started offering this service in 2013 to school age children ages 6-12 years old. The program is opened to children of our Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC) students. This year, an invitation was extended to other program participants especially those residing in the Agincourt Community. The average weekly attendance was 18 participants, we hope see continued growth in the years to come.
