The Homework Club
The Homework Club is an after-school mentoring program offered to boys and girls in school age who require academic support and would benefit from one-on-one homework mentoring with a caring youth volunteer. The Homework Club meets for one hour per week after school from October to May.
The Homework Club is offered to students whose second language is English, who are economically disadvantaged, or stressed due to family problems and below average academic history.
Homework Club Study Mentors are adults (retired teachers) and high school students from our community giving their time to assist children who are experiencing academic difficulties or who require help maintaining their grades.
